The Cheng Plastic Surgery team is growing!

We are looking for a polished Medical Assistant to help our patients look and feel their best using our award-winning cosmetic services and products.

This position is Monday – Friday plus occasional Saturdays, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The schedule will range from 30-40 hours per week. The primary location will be in Saratoga, but there may be occasions you will be assigned in Redwood City.

Role Overview:

• Assisting providers with treating and managing patients (eg. preparing patients; recording medications/vitals; taking photos; preparing rooms and supplies; performing minor procedures; counseling patients)
• Providing patient support (eg. checking-in on patients; responding to patient and lead inquiries) coordinating patient care (eg. scheduling procedures; ordering lab tests, supplies, and prescriptions; arranging paperwork and logistics; providing counseling)
• Managing patient and clinic flow (eg. checking patients in/out, rooming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments)
• Managing/sterilizing supplies, equipment, and facility

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of demonstrated success as a certified medical assistant.
• Prior experience in Plastic Surgery, or a similar role in Dermatology or a Medical Spa a plus!
• Caring and empathetic with the desire to develop lasting patient relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills · Meticulous and detail oriented with good hands
• Flexible, adaptable, perseverant, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
